Although our hand gripper strengths are marketed in 50 lb. increments, these strengths are approximate. Our hand grippers are made with heavy-duty torsion springs. The actual strength of each hand gripper may vary as the "spring winding" effect increases the grip’s resistance slightly as the grip is closed. Great care is taken to ensure that each hand gripper spring is as uniform in strength as possible.
